Nigel Satterley, AM
Founder & Chief Executive
Nigel Satterley founded the Satterley Property Group more than 30 years ago and has more than 40 years experience in building, real estate and property development.
Satterley Property Group has been awarded more than 70 prestigious industry awards and Nigel’s personal achievements in residential development, real estate, project management, environmental and urban renewal have won recognition, respect and admiration.
With wife Denise, Nigel is well known for supporting charity, particularly medical research, women’s refuge, the churches, schools and sport.
In 2006, Nigel received membership of the Order of Australia for his contribution to land development, urban renewal programs and to charity, medical research and sport. He is a life member and former No 1 ticket holder of the West Coast Eagles Football Club.
Deputy Managing Director
Recently appointed board member and deputy managing director Tony Carr has a strong background in finance and the residential land and home building industries.
He has been chief financial officer of Satterley Property Group for ten years and has provided financial guidance to the Chief Executive and more recently to the new board. He has helped Satterley grow as a solid, stable, financially-secure company.
In his 25 plus years in the industry, Tony has shown great versatility with experience in land development for both residential and commercial buildings, project management, and sales and marketing.
General Manager, Development WA
Kim joined Satterley in 2015 as General Manager Development for Western Australia. He has over 20 years property experience across a broad range of large scale projects, which involved leadership and management responsibility in the acquisition, development and sales of master planned communities, residential mixed-use projects, integrated housing and high density residential developments.
Over his career Kim has worked with a number of public and privately owned companies including Mirvac, Georgiou Group, Stockland and Australand, which provides him with an extensive background across all facets of project development strategy, implementation and delivery.
Kim has worked closely with a range of development partners including landowners, private companies, investors and government joint venture partnerships to structure project objectives to enhance outcomes for all parties.
Kim has professional qualifications in property and is a licensed real estate agent in Western Australia. He currently serves as a Councillor for the Urban Development Institute of Australia,
General Manager for Victoria and Queensland
Jack Hoffmann has been working in residential development in Victoria for nearly 8 years. Jack joined Satterley Property Group in December 2011 and manages the group’s developments in Victoria.
Prior to joining Satterley, Jack spent nearly 7 years working at a major listed property group. There, he managed multiple land development projects across Victoria, including the Selandra Rise estate in Clyde North.
General Manager Acquisitions
For more than 20 years, David Williams has been involved in the commercial and residential real estate industries specialising in financial and market analysis associated with due diligence on acquisitions, market research, portfolio management and project management.
David is responsible for financial and market analysis of both new and existing projects and a number of associated project management roles. His versatility is particularly beneficial in the management of integrated projects, which include commercial, retail and residential components.
David has been responsible for negotiating the financial and legal terms of many significant joint venture projects, including several between WA Government entities and private consortia.
Executive Manager of Planning
Ray Stokes is acknowledged by his peers as one of Australia’s foremost statutory planners.
As executive manager of planning with Satterley he oversees the Group’s Strategic and Statutory Planning procedures in Western Australia as well as Queensland and Victoria.
Ray has extensive experience in all aspects of statutory and strategic planning and is well known to the planning and development industry in WA. At the Department for Planning and Infrastructure.
Ray led a team of 120 planners and support staff and was responsible for advising the State Minister and Western Australian Planning Commission on statutory planning approvals.
Ray Stokes was honoured with the UDIA’s Distinguished Service Award for his leadership, knowledge and work ethic; he is a Life Fellow of The Planning Institute of Australia and a member of the University of WA Planning Advisory Board.
