Eglinton Train Station

The brand-new Eglinton train station officially opened in July 2024, marking a major milestone in the State Government’s Yanchep Rail Extension project. Eglinton station is located off Pipidinny Road, just east of Marmion Avenue. Allara’s convenient location, 600m from Eglinton station, makes commuting a breeze. With trains to Elizabeth Quay departing every 5-10 minutes during peak hours, you can skip the traffic and enjoy a smarter, more sustainable journey.

  • Five-minute bike ride (or two-minute drive) from Allara to Eglinton station.
  • Dedicated passenger drop-off area with around 400 parking bays, including 20 ACROD bays.

Butler Train Station

Butler train station is a short 10-minute drive from Eglinton, conveniently located beside Butler Central, one of the area’s major shopping hubs. With over 1,000 parking bays available at Butler, you can combine a stress-free commute with your weekly grocery shopping—and still beat the traffic home.

Catching the Bus?

You can embrace the Allara spirit of sustainability and smart living by leaving the car at home and hopping on the bus. The 494 and 495 buses stop along Marmion Av after Revolution Av, reaching Eglinton station in 3 minutes. From the same stop, you can also take the 491 to and from Alkimos station, or the 494 to Yanchep for a dip in the lagoon.

Mitchell Freeway Extension

Driving from Eglinton to Perth is now easier, thanks to the Romeo Road exit which opened to commuters in 2023. The extension allows you to access the Mitchell Freeway in just under 10 minutes and drive directly to Perth in  approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

Getting Around By Bike Or On Foot

Almost all the amenities you need are reachable by bike from Allara, thanks to dedicated cycle routes and shared paths connecting Eglinton to Yanchep and Alkimos. The ride from Eglinton to Yanchep Central is an easy 5-kilometre trip along Marmion Av, and Alkimos is a little further (6.5km) in the other direction. All the more reason to leave the car at home in Allara and feel the ocean breeze on your face!
