Design Guidelines and Covenants

Every Satterley community has rules called covenants or design guidelines – that outline what and how you can build your home in your new community.

These covenants are designed to make sure that Satterley communities have an attractive streetscape that helps to maintain the value and integrity of the community in the long-term.

These guidelines appear as annexure in your contract when you buy a block and can be viewed under each community on the website and will be fully explained by your sales professional.

Covenants cover things such as:

  • Exterior paint colours
  • Types of materials that are allowed, such as brick, timber, cladding or metal sheeting
  • Energy rating of the home
  • Where your home is situated on the block
  • Location and size of external living areas
  • Privacy control
