On Tuesday, January 21st, the annual Summer Splashdown event took place at Milan’s Place and Josip Glavota Park in Clementine Estate. Despite the soaring temperature of 39 degrees, the park was vibrant with excited children of all ages and families basking in the summer atmosphere.
The event drew approximately 250 – 300 attendees and featured an array of activities, including water inflatables, foam bubbles, and a designated area for younger children. Older kids enjoyed the inflatable water slide and were able to cool off beneath the inflatable rainbow arch. The area for younger children offered paddling pools and water toys, all situated under shade. Additionally, everyone had the opportunity to revel in the foam bubbles within the foam pit, transforming the park into a giant bubble bath!
On the afternoon of the Telethon Home VIP launch, we hosted a community event in the nearby park for residents to join in the celebration.
With around 150 people swinging by to partake in the activities, the day was packed with lots of fun. From a petting zoo to train rides and a photo booth, there was something for everyone.
Throughout the course of May, Clementine Estate hosted several hugely successful Sip and Paint workshops.
Held in the Clementine Cottage, 60 attendees sipped on beverages and enjoyed some delectable treats all while unleashing their inner Picasso.
This free community event was filled with goodies and community fun – an event for everyone to enjoy!
Everyone had a blast of creativity, putted their way to victory and checked out the awesome stallholders' goodies.

The original farmstead cottage has been used as inspiration to create a multi-purpose community space. Named in honour of the former owners and farmers of the land, the new community space is named after the Glavota family and can now be enjoyed by generations to come.
Our Community Sponsorship Program helps the community grow and become sustainable over time. Local groups and non-profit organisations can apply for funding to support local events, activities, and projects or to purchase new equipment.
