Since opening in 2024, Doug Kendall Park has become a natural place for families to enjoy relaxed afternoons outdoors. Kids can test their balance on stepping logs or explore the large pipes that spark imaginative games. The climbing wall is a gentle challenge for young bodies, while the double flying fox creates excitement for older kids.
Frederick Lobb Park has quickly become a local favourite, offering a peaceful green space where families can unwind and children can play safely. Its peaceful setting along the Ellen Brook makes it ideal for a stroll, while open grassy areas and playground equipment provide plenty of fun for kids. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic, play, or simply enjoying nature.
Clementine’s newest park, Orchard Park, is located on the corner of Orange Ave & Lychee Road. With lush green spaces and plenty of room to relax, it’s the perfect spot for a picnic, a playdate, or even your new favourite reading spot. Children can enjoy the playground equipment, while families can soak up the sunshine and greenery.
Harry Skulley Park is a relaxed neighbourhood park within Clementine, offering a simple, open space for everyday play and downtime. Harry Skulley Park, with open lawn and a quiet feel, is ideal for a short outdoor break, casual play, or a moment to relax close to home.
Josip Glavota Park is a vibrant community park located within Clementine, designed to bring families together. With playground equipment and generous open space, it suits a range of ages and activities. Designed as a shared space for residents, this park supports everyday outdoor living in a calm, welcoming setting.
As Clementine continues to grow, you’ll be able to enjoy 22 hectares of open space across the masterplanned estate. Future areas include landscaped parks, a foreshore park, and walking and cycling paths beside the Ellen Brook that guide you through peaceful pockets of green and lead you into new community spaces. Upon completion, Clementine will offer 15 parks and public open spaces, giving your family room to play, unwind, and stay connected to nature.
Yagan Memorial Park offers a peaceful setting where families can learn about local Noongar history. The site honours the life of Yagan and provides a calm place for reflection. Native plantings and open grassy areas make it a meaningful spot for gentle walks. Visitors often come to enjoy the quiet outlook toward the valley and to share the story of Yagan with younger generations.
Just across Railway Parade from Clementine, Upper Swan Skate Park gives your kids a handy place to ride and practise new skills. You’ll find a small skate area and a basketball hoop, plus shaded seating for parents. The space suits all ages and is close enough for quick after-school outings.
Annie’s Landing Dog Park is ideal when your dog needs an active outing. The double-gated entry adds peace of mind. The fully fenced space includes a double-gated entry, tunnels, hurdles, and other agility elements, with grassed areas to roam. Water is available (for people and pets), with benches for you to sit while your dog explores.
With two zones and plenty of facilities, Ellenbrook District Open Space is a meeting point for sport and recreation in the area. North of Cashman Ave, you’ll find cricket pitches, AFL football goals, Ellenbrook Pavilion, and Ellenbrook Bowls Club. The southern area includes four full-sized outdoor soccer pitches, a cricket oval, a playground, and mixed-use courts shared by Aveley Secondary College.
The Avon River flows through granite formations that create a striking natural setting in Walyunga National Park. You can enjoy a peaceful picnic and wildflowers in spring, or try canoeing during the wetter months.
