Satterley’s Bluestone community in Tarneit has marked a significant milestone with the installation of beams for the Skeleton Creek Bridge.
The installation process involved six beams, each measuring 26 meters in length and weighing 52.5 tonnes. The first beam was delivered in the early hours of the morning, with the installation continuing throughout the day. This milestone represents a crucial step in the bridge’s construction, bringing the project closer to completion.
“Reaching this milestone is a major accomplishment for our team,” said Dan Ho, Development Manager at Satterley Property Group. “The Skeleton Creek Bridge is a key infrastructure project that will greatly benefit our Bluestone community by providing a much-needed secondary access point.”
The bridge project is a combined effort with two other neighbouring developers, demonstrating a strong collaborative approach to improving the local infrastructure.
With the beams now in place, the project will progress to the next phases, which include installing steel frame decking and commencing road pavement works.
Practical completion of the bridge is anticipated by mid-November 2024. Once finished, the Skeleton Creek Bridge will enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents, providing a vital link within the estate and to surrounding areas.
This development is expected to support the ongoing growth and development of the Bluestone community, making it an even more attractive place to live.
