Maple Grove recently celebrated the opening of our new 1-hectare park with an afternoon of free family-friendly activities, entertainment and community fun.
Held on Sunday 20 September, the Park Party brought local families and residents together to explore the new park and enjoy an afternoon of activities including face painting, giant cricketers on stilts, backyard games, cuddly animals, music and delicious food.
The new park has been designed around the theme of the quintessential Australian backyard, with plenty of spaces and play experiences for children to explore. From a cubby fortress and helicopter to a flying fox and billy carts, there’s something for kids of different ages to enjoy.
It was fantastic to see the park come to life as families explored the new space, met their neighbours and enjoyed the afternoon together.
The park is now open for the Maple Grove community to enjoy.
