Satterley was once again pleased to support Swim Thru Perth on Sunday 18 January 2026, continuing our longstanding partnership with one of Western Australia’s most iconic community sporting events. The Swim Thru Perth is Australia’s oldest open water swim, first held in 1912 and attracting swimmers of all ages and abilities to the beautiful Swan River each year.
The event delivered perfect conditions, an enthusiastic community turnout and a strong field of competitors across all race distances. As in previous years, we were honoured to be the race-name sponsor of the Satterley 1.6km Classic Mile, a highlight of the day that celebrates personal challenge, community engagement and open water swimming excellence.
Congratulations to all winners and placegetters in the Satterley Classic Mile. The competition was fierce and inspiring, with participants showing both dedication and camaraderie in the iconic Matilda Bay course.
We also extend a special congratulations to Satterley team member Anthony Halvorson, who achieved first place in his category in the Satterley Classic Mile for the second consecutive year. Anthony’s performance reflects his commitment to fitness and community involvement, and we are proud to celebrate his success.
Swim Thru Perth is more than a race. The event embraces inclusivity, community spirit and fundraising support for local causes, including activities led by Superfins WA. Through participation and event day contributions, attendees helped support these important community initiatives.
Our ongoing sponsorship reflects Satterley’s strong belief in backing events that bring people together, promote healthy lifestyles and contribute to the cultural life of Perth’s riverfront communities.
Thank you to the Claremont Masters Swimming Club, volunteers, officials, sponsors and every swimmer who made the 106th Swim Thru Perth such a memorable event. We look forward to supporting this great tradition again next year.
