Structure Plan Documents

Satterley lodged Structure Plan 34 (SP34) with the Shire of Mundaring for assessment. As part of that assessment, the Shire invited public comment on the proposal. The public comment period closed on 10 January 2019. The subject property is already zoned Development and forms part of the State Government and Shire's wider growth strategy.

The North Stoneville Structure Plan provides for:

  • 1,410 lots (1,350 residential lots and 60 rural lots) for a resident population of approximately 3,948 people;
  • 1,500m2 of commercial / retail floor space;
  • 1x Government Primary School;
  • 1x private High School;
  • Private wastewater treatment plant;
  • 45.7 hectares of Public Open Space; and
  • 100 hectares of conservation area.

The Structure Plan documents that were advertised by the Shire are provided here for information:

Public submissions are currently being considered by Council, which will make a recommendation on SP34 to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

The WAPC makes the final decision on the Structure Plan. This process can take several months. If approved, the WAPC will publish the approved Structure Plan, which will be available online via the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage website.
