Connect your phone or music device to the free wifi in the park to play your favourite tunes, enjoy the complimentary music on the musical BBQ’s, play ball on the half courts or grab a book from the residents mini-library  as you wind away the afternoon.

2) Enjoy the local beaches

Shorehaven Beach, Alkimos Beach and Yanchep Lagoon are all a short drive away from Allara. Beautiful WA coastline is the perfect way to spend the day with the family. If you feel like staying closer to home, stroll to Luminous Park in Allara to watch the sun go down over the ocean. Thanks to the hard work of our residents and Quinns Mens Shed (link), a community bench is the perfect spot to enjoy the view.

3) Explore Yanchep National Park

Yanchep National Park has so much to offer visitors. Plentiful picnic spots, the 240 metre koala boardwalk, nine walking trails and 400 caves are suitable for the whole family to enjoy. Enjoy a handmade chocolate, or two, from the cafe in the centre of the park before heading home!

4) Take a Discover Wanneroo adventure

The City of Wanneroo have compiled some of the must-visit itineraries. From water sports, to rest and relaxation to taste sensations, their guide of trails is a fantastic guide for families to explore. Choose a theme that matches your wants for your day and get exploring!

5) Embrace the seasons

Spring is almost here and fresh fruits and veggies are abundant in our community. Yanchep Monthly Markets take place on the last Sunday of every month between 9am - 1pm and showcase some of the City’s food producers. Farms like Aida Strawberry Farm are also open for visitors, so bring your little ones, grab a basket and get picking!
