Allara Outdoor Family Flicks were a hit!

On Friday 8 March, Allara estate hosted their annual Outdoor Movie Night at Kinkuna Park, Allara. Incredibles 2 was shown on the big screen to Allara Residents and the wider community as they feasted on delicious food and refreshment trucks including Toast My Curry and Bolivian Buzz. Local community team Alkimos Ball Club provided a Sausage Sizzle and soft drinks to refresh the thirsty moviegoers and fundraise for their upcoming season.

After surveying the local community, feedback showed that movie nights were a must have for residents who ranked them as the number one community event they would like to see at Allara. Listening to the community, the Allara Community Development Team planned the movie night and have now included as an annual feature on their calendar of events.

Over 250 movie goers joined the community event enjoying a night with their fellow residents. The Eglinton destination provided families with the opportunity to be entertained, dine and enjoy the amenities at Allara including Kinkuna Park; now featuring award-winning Biba App. Read more about the exciting developments here.

Project Director, John Silla believes community events like the Allara Outdoor Family Flicks are integral to building a new community ‘We’re excited to welcome new and prospective Allara Residents to our Outdoor Movie Night. Events like these are a fun and informal way to meet neighbours and explore our thriving community. We truly believe that once someone visits Allara, they will fall in love with the lifestyle Allara has to offer. Our community includes singles, couples, young families and retiree’s and all of whom enjoy a movie night with friends, embracing and building Allara with a real sense of community’.

Allara’s School Holidays events are up next on their calendar of community activities with Klub Kinkuna’s ‘Just Ballin’ Sports Day the next activity for residents to enjoy. With a community, so family orientated, family-focused activities are central to the Allara team.
