Celebrating 15 years of Dalyellup Library

Dalyellup Library is the heart of the community and this year celebrates its 15 year anniversary. Over its 15 year history, the library has hosted many kids activities, workshops, parent groups and provided supplies and facilities to encourage reading and learning across all age groups.

Due to its popularity, the library has recently relocated into a new and improved location at Dalyellup Shopping Centre. The new space features a children’s area, youth space, public computers and a range of new books, DVDs and audiobooks for the whole community to enjoy. Kids favourites like Storytime and Rhymetime are still on offer every Tuesday morning through the school term, but the larger premises has provided opportunities for an expanded program of activities.

The upcoming school holidays are no exception when it comes to entertainment. The Christmas School Holiday Bazaar will be held between 1pm and 3pm on Monday 23 December featuring crafts for children and Christmas stories to get into the festive spirit. Be sure to register online to join this free event and to celebrate this special time of year with the Dalyellup Library and your local community. Suitable for all ages, our smallest and biggest residents can all enjoy a day of Christmas cheer.

A thriving hub in the Shire of Capel, Dalyellup Library is continuing to grow with the community it’s proudly a part of. With an exciting new premise that opened in July 2019, Dalyellup Library is set to continue to stay integral to our thriving community for years to come.
