Clementine Estate’s new sales office and community space opened its doors to the public on Sunday 10th October with a ‘Spring Delights’ opening event, part of the 2021 ‘Entwined in the Valley Festival’.

The event saw over 300 attendees enjoy the range of activities on offer, including cooking demonstrations by local Chef Caroline Taylor using fresh local WA produce, skincare workshop, live entertainment, food stalls, a cuddly animal farm, kids crafts, and horse drawn wagon rides.

The new community space, “Glavota’s Place” will be available for community use in 2022 and features an open-air pavilion, community green with shaded seating and a co-use sales cottage. The space is named after the Glavota family, the former owners and farmers of the land.

Satterley’s Senior Community Development Coordinator, Lyndsey Stoney, said she is looking forward to opening the space for local community use.

“Historically this area was largely used for growing table grapes, so the pavilion was built to replicate the property’s grape drying shed, which was used to turn fresh grapes into raisins and currants. The sales office cottage was also built in the style of the landowner’s original homestead,“ she said.

“It was important to reflect the site’s rich history and we are delighted it can now be enjoyed by future generations to come,” said Lyndsey.

Earlier in the week, Satterley CEO, Nigel Satterley, and City of Swan Deputy Mayor, Cr David Lucas, officially opened the new sales office through a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and welcomed local stakeholders for a morning tea which included locally sourced Clementine branded jams.

Clementine Estate is located just 30 minutes from the Perth CBD in the picturesque Upper Swan Valley, between the impressive Darling Ranges and the serene banks of the Ellen Brook. Set on an old vineyard, the master-planned community will feature wide, country-style roads and landscaped parks and playgrounds to compliment the Ellen Brook reserve and nearby national parks. The estate is close to established amenities in nearby Ellenbrook, The Vines and Aveley, and includes a proposed local shopping centre and primary school.

Estate Manager, Archie Pandya says “Clementine is an exciting new estate that offers a variety of living options, from larger lots to suit growing families to smaller sizes and townhomes to suit downsizers or first home buyers.”
