Cupcake King Quentin's Telethon Fundraiser visits Seaside

Quentin Fitzgerald and his family have been fundraising for Telethon for the past four years, helping to raise over $15,000 during this time by selling cupcakes and other baked goods in the local community.

Passionate about helping sick children, Quentin, also known as the "Cupcake King," decided to start fundraising after his father lost a baby to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and his sister Amy needed regular hospital treatment in her childhood.

The family usually sell cupcakes through Quentin's Facebook Group "King Quentin fundraising for Telethonbut this weekend they were happy to try something new - and the Seaside Sales Office made the perfect location!

Satterley’s Seaside Estate in Madora Bay is the home of the 2022 Telethon Home which is being built by Home Group ahead of the Telethon Weekend on 22-23 October. Full proceeds from the sale of the home will be donated to Telethon to support WA children and families in need.

Satterley’s Community Development & Social Media Coordinator for Seaside Estate, Rebecca McCauley, said she was delighted to team up with Cupcake King Quentin on his quest to raise $12,000 for Telethon this year.

“Quentin raised a record-breaking $10,000 to Telethon last year and it was a pleasure to have Quentin and his family at the Seaside Estate Sales Office to help raise vital funds for a great cause,“ said Ms McCauley.
