Feel alive at Allara

Looking to build? You will certainly feel at home living at Allara, an award-winning community that provides a coastal lifestyle without the beachside price tag.

Allara is a vibrant coastal community within close reach to a number of schools, shops, parks, and leisure activities. It is the perfect balance between enjoying days by the beach and exploring many of the surrounding national parks and bushland.

Located in the growing suburb of Eglinton on Perth’s northern coastal corridor, Allara is just five minutes from Yanchep Central Shopping Centre, a 20-minute drive to Joondalup city centre, and only 600 metres from the future Eglinton Train Station.

See for yourself what living at Allara feels like.

Discover Allara

Discover why Allara feels like home

Your new home will extend far beyond the boundary of your fence. There is so much to enjoy right outside your doorstep, from beautifully landscaped parks and playgrounds to recreation areas and bushland.

Kinkuna Park

Kinkuna Park is one of Perth’s best destination playgrounds. There are various interactive play zones located throughout the park for children to climb, jump and play as well as a water playground during the summer months. There is fitness equipment and basketball courts for those who feel like working up a sweat, and when it’s time to relax, there are picnic tables and barbecues including Australia’s first musical barbecue!

Inspired by sustainable living

Sustainable design has been woven into the entire fabric of what makes up the Allara community. A range of innovative recycling, energy and community initiatives have been incorporated as well as sustainable landscaping that promotes biodiversity and habitat restoration.

Some of these initiatives include:

  • A neighbourhood fully connected by cycle ways and walk paths.
  • Sustainable home building packages such as the Clever Lifestyle Bundle, solar panels, and security systems.
  • An exciting community program.
  • The first estate in Perth to provide a bike-sharing facility.
  • A shared community space known as the Allara Share Place for small group gatherings, meetings, hot-desking, workshops and community functions.

Allara’s commitment to sustainability was recognised nationally by the Urban Development Institute of Australia. It was one of the first communities in Australia to be awarded with the highest rating for an environmentally sustainable development.

Community program and events

When you make the choice to live in a community like Allara, you will enjoy the benefit of a dedicated community team that is on standby to help you settle into your new life. They will connect you with your neighbours, local businesses and bring the Allara community to life through a range of activities and free events including the popular Klub Kinkuna event. This annual event attracts hundreds of people who come along for a day of fun in the sun. The community team also held activities such as kite flying and virtual movie nights to keep the family entertained during  COVID-19 lockdown, as part of its Virtually Together Program.

As part of a commitment to help the community grow and become self-sustainable over time, Allara's Community Grants Program provides the opportunity for local groups, individuals, and not-for-profit organisations to apply for funding to support community events, activities, and projects or to purchase vital equipment.
