Transport Options at The Hales, Forrestfield

2021 is the expected completion date of the exciting and much anticipated Forrestfield Airport Transport link. Not only does this mean easy and convenient access to the airport itself, but a boost for our economy, jobs and opportunities for eastern suburbs residents.

The $1.86 billion Forrestfield- Airport Link has been funded by the Australian and Western Australian government and will provide an exciting new rail service to the eastern suburbs of Perth, with three new stations at Redcliffe, Airport Central and Forrestfield. The later, the station located within a short distance of The Hales, Forrestfield.

Over 8.5 kilometre of railway is under construction and is predicted to generate over 20,000 daily passenger trips by 2022. The line is also expected to relieve congestion on some of our overcrowded and popular roads as well as support construction around the train stations themselves.  

Forrestfield Station will be located adjacent to Dundas Road and will provide an efficient option to and from the city. Only 20 minutes by train from Forrestfield to Perth CBD means your commute to the city is even easier! Just enough time to enjoy a few pages of your favourite book or a sip of your takeaway coffee! The Perth Airport will be a 2-minute journey away too. The station will also include a bus interchange, bicycle bays and parking for 1200 vehicles!
