Heron Park is the only estate for Harrisdale Primary School

Heron Park in Perth’s south-eastern corridor falls within the catchment area for Harrisdale Primary School, one of the state’s newest and most exciting primary schools.

Harrisdale Primary School, a modern and innovative educational campus, opened its doors in February 2016 and caters for children aged from Kindergarten to Year 6. Chief Executive Nigel Satterley, said prospective buyers need to take into consideration local school catchment areas as surrounding estates do not fall within the Harrisdale Primary School zone.

“As the school year draws to a close and families look to consider enrolment options for 2018 it is important they ensure when buying land in Harrisdale that they buy in the estate that falls within the Harrisdale Primary School catchment area”.

Mr Satterley said Harrisdale Primary School is a fantastic local school with the best and brightest teachers in the area.

“Harrisdale Primary School is a winner for families as it boasts an open, inclusive and collaborative school community, supported with high-quality, innovative teaching and therefore buying in Heron Park Estate means their children can attend one of the best primary schools in the state”.

“Heron Park is located in the suburb of Harrisdale which is growing faster than any other area in Perth with 17.9 per cent population growth over the last year,” Mr Satterley said. Mr Satterley says primary school aged children aren’t the only ones who will benefit from buying in the Heron Park community.

“Earlier this year Harrisdale High School opened within Heron Park under the guidance of one of Perth’s most renowned principal’s Leila Bothams, the former principal of Rossmoyne Senior High School.

“People want to live in a community surrounded by shops, schools, parks and a close-knit community – and Heron Park offers all of this and more.”
