It’s that time of year when Christmas songs start playing on the radio, Santa is making regular visits to your local shopping centre and you’re starting to think about putting up your Christmas tree. Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, however, buying gifts can be one of the most stressful parts of the festive holiday. Planning gifts for every family member, trying to be thoughtful and to not break the bank is an almost impossible task for even the most organised amongst us. 

However, you don’t have to travel far from your home at Allara to tackle your Christmas shopping in style. There’s a number of small local businesses close by that sell unique gifts at affordable prices. Buying from local shops and stalls supports the local community and helps to build the business of residents who live in our community.

Kanga Markets at Yanchep Shopping Centre

In the lead up to Christmas, Yanchep shopping centre will host a number of Kanga Markets showcasing an abundance of local stalls. Find the perfect gift for your loved one with the choice of local produce, scented candles and gifts sets all on display and created by local residents.

Wanneroo Markets 

Located close to Whitfords train station, Wanneroo Markets offer a variety of gifts for everyone in the family will enjoy opening this Christmas. Home to a range of fashion, fresh produce, homewares and kids toys stalls, Wanneroo Markets also have number of variety stalls stocking a wide range of gifts with inspiration from all over the world. Visit between Thursday and Sunday and you can treat yourself to a tipple at the Market Bar, post-shopping!

Head to the Twilight Markets in Joondalup 

Christmas is a great time of year to enjoy festive evenings out and about in Perth. This year, Joondalup is hosting Twilight Markets from 5:30-8:30pm every Friday starting from 29th November. The markets include unique handmade gifts coupled with live music and entertainment to offer authentic festive evenings for the whole family to enjoy.

Head into the CBD for Perth Makers Market

Perth Makers market is hosting a special Christmas event on 7th December, bringing together a number of stalls from all over Western Australia. From beauty products to jewellery accessories, this market is sure to be a great opportunity to grab some perfect Christmas gifts for your loved ones.
