The Hive at Honeywood - Your destination this Summer

The Hive at Honeywood is fast becoming the heart of the Honeywood community. Modifications were made at the start of 2019 to transform the Honeywood Sales Office to transform the space into a shared zone for residents, community groups and local businesses to use.

Since opening in August 2019, several bookings have been made to use the space for a range of purposes from arts and crafts to community group meetings, small business networking functions and Hi-Tea parties. The Hive at Honeywood has been designed for multiple uses to enhance community life for residents. The temporary indoor space is the perfect designation for small group gatherings, meetings, hot-desking, workshops and community functions outside of regular sales opening times.

It’s been wonderful to see residents and the local community embrace The Hive at Honeywood. We were confident there was the need for a space local people could use for their hobbies, passions and business and it’s been exciting to see the space used for a variety of purposes. We have bookings scheduled throughout 2020 and I’d urge residents interested to use the space to book soon! Honeywood Music School will be regular users of the space, generating $250 in donations’ advises Honeywood Community Development Coordinator, Katie Dixon.

The Hive at Honeywood includes:

  • Indoor space with existing furniture
  • Kitchen
  • Hot desks
  • Small playground
  • Toilet
  • Parking, including ACROD bays

The summer holidays are the perfect opportunity to visit The Hive at Honeywood for the first time. Book an hour to spend with your little ones for some Christmas arts and crafts or to get together for a Christmas meet up with your neighbours.

To further enhance and support our community, some bookings may incur a small fee with the donation going directly to the Channel 7 Telethon Trust helping sick and disadvantaged children in Western Australia.
