The South West's most Instagrammable Spots

The beautiful South West, Provence offers the best of everything; immaculate parks, world-class wineries and breathtaking landscapes. Living in the Provence community means you're close to everything your family needs. From landscaped family playgrounds, open spaces. BBQ zones and family picnic areas, there is so much here to explore!

Perfectly located in WA's south west region, there are a wealth of beautiful destinations to enjoy with your loved ones a short drive away. You'll never tire of new destinations to adventure in. Better yet, if you're an avid photographer or just an amateur, iconic photography spots can be found throughout the South West region.

Hop in the car, time your journey with sunrise or sunset and bring your photography device of choice and get snapping! Below we share some inspiration from Marketing Manager and South West local Ashlee Baily to get your creative juices flowing!

Old Dunsborough Boat Ramp

Spend the day relaxing in the calm waters at Old Dunsborough Boartramp. Protected by sandbanks close to the shore, cooling off in the water or taking the boat out are two fantastic ways to enjoy the scenery.

Injidup Natural Spa

Injidup Natural Spa is one of the south's most picturesque spots in the south west. Beautiful turquoise waters and rock pools are plentiful and ideal for photographers (or inspiring photographers) with so many Instagram-worth views!

Castle Rock

For the adventurers among us, Castle Rock offers a variety of photo spots. Make the most of the views by walking the trail to Granite Skywalk. A 6m ladder leads you high above the surrounds with fantastic views.

Point Picquet

A strip of white sand that comes and goes with the tide and red ochre rocks make Point Picquet a unique photography spot. Bring your camera and bathers and make the most of the delightful surroundings.

Smiths Beach

An isolated spot alongside the popular seaside destination, Bunker Bay, there is a beautiful stretch of white powered sand, ideal for an afternoon walk with the sand between your toes!

Canal Rocks

Enjoy the surrounds of the rocks of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste ridge. Choose to visit on a windy day and you'll experience how mother nature has transformed the landscape.

And of course, the foreshores of Geographe Bay which is just a 5 minute drive from Provence.

Perhaps one of the most well-known stretches of WA coat, Geographe Bay. sits on the long curve of beautiful Geographe Bay boasting sweeping Indian Ocean views, white sand beaches and calm turquoise waters. It's also just minutes from the centre of Busselton.
