When it comes to choosing a camping spot, your options are endless. There are so many beautiful places to set up camp for a mini, expensive getaway within easy reach of your home at Allara, Eglinton. Nestled close to some of WA’s easy connecting transport links like Wanneroo Road and the Mitchell Freeway, packing up the car with your camping gear, favourite snacks and tunes for the road to head to a new destination is easy. What makes camping a little bit more complicated? Finding somewhere welcoming for your four-legged friend! After all, our precious pooches are a part of our family and it’s only right we bring them along on family adventures.

When you choose to live at Allara, you can easily head north or south to explore all our wonderful state has to offer. So browse the suggestions below, pick your favourite spot and spend your time focussing on the snacks. We’ve got you covered.

1) Monkey Mia

2) Baden Powell Campground

Another dog-friendly spot further south, in Dwellingup, is Baden Powell Campground. The grounds are more rustic than Monkey Mia, but definitely pooch approved. The grounds have three sheltered camp kitchens with gas barbeques, cold water taps, dishwashing sinks, food preparation surfaces, dining tables and benches for you to focus on having fun, knowing the practical side of things is taken care of.

3) Logue Brook

Located alongside Lake Brockman, located in the Shire of Harvey is Logue Brook campground. Many choose to head to Logue Brook to enjoy camping and water activities including water skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing, and sailing. If you’re partial to bushwalking and mountain biking, this is the place to go. Needless to say, water and wilderness are always a hit with your dog!
