Top Dog Walking Spots Close to Provence

For many prospective buyers, finding the perfect location includes a long list of wants. There is a lot to consider before moving into your new home location and a major consideration for many people and their families are their furry friends!

Living somewhere your dog can be happy makes life so much easier, and the City has done a fabulous job in allowing dog-walking at many beautiful spots within Busselton and the surrounding towns which form the wider City of Busselton.

Provence is close to the Busselton Foreshore and at the gateway to many other regional parks and beaches. It’s important that you know exactly where your pup is permitted to avoid any conflict or fines!

There are three main categories when reviewing the City of Busselton’s Dog Exercise Areas policy, which are:

  1. Areas where dog are not permitted at all
  2. Areas where dogs are permitted on a leash only
  3. Areas where dogs are permitted off-leash

In regard to beaches, dog owners must be aware there are City controlled beaches where dogs are permitted at all times, where dogs are permitted during specified times, and where dogs are absolutely prohibited.

Below we list some rough guidelines, however we encourage you to visit the resource below on the City of Busselton’s website to ensure the most up to date and accurate information.
