Valentines Day at Provence

Ah, the day of love!

Are you looking for something nice and local to do with your other half this Valentine’s Day? Provence and its surrounds has so much to offer! Here are some suggestions.

  1. An outdoor picnic

There’s no better place than within Provence estate to have a low-key Valentine’s Day picnic.

You’re your favourite bottle of wine, make an indulgent platter and utilise the BBQ facilities to relax and enjoy one another’s company close to home! Take a portable speaker too and pop some acoustic music on low volume in the background to set the mood.

Check out the beautiful outdoor spaces at Provence here.

  1. Dinner at the Busselton foreshore

If you’re keen on heading to the Busselton foreshore, The Equinox, The Goose Bar & Kitchen or the brand new Shelter Brewing Co are all fantastic choices for dining in.

You could also grab a takeaway or bring along a picnic and sit on the beach or grassed areas at the foreshore.

  1. Dine at one of Busselton’s best restaurants

Al Forno is an Italian favourite with the locals, or something a little casual, try The Ship Inn, or Albies Bar & Bistro.

Busselton also has several local Chinese, Indian and Thai restaurants.

Down the road in Broadwater you’ll find Stilts Beach Bar & Restaurant, and if you head a little further toward Dunsborough our picks are Palmer’s Winery, Yarri and Blue Manna. You could even try a staycation and dinner at the beautiful Bunker Bay Resort!

As always, just make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment.

  1. Plan a fun activity

Perhaps you’re a little more adventurous and looking for an outdoor activity like visiting the local caves in the Margaret River Region, or heading to one of the south west’s secluded beaches for the day.
