About Telethon
Since 1968, Telethon has been a cornerstone of community spirit, compassion, and generosity in Western Australia. As a registered charity governed by a board of trustees, Telethon raises funds to support sick, vulnerable, and disadvantaged children across the state. Every dollar donated goes directly to 161 organisations and children’s charities through more than 300 grants, funding vital medical research, services, programs, and equipment.
In 2024, under the theme Incredible Together, Telethon celebrated the power of unity and the contributions of everyday heroes including families, individuals, businesses, and healthcare workers – working together for a common cause. Now in its 58th year, Telethon has raised over $688 million to date, including a record-breaking $83.3 million last year.
100 per cent of the proceeds from the sale of the Telethon Home go directly to Telethon, helping us shape a better and brighter future for the next generation.
