Featured Event: Seaside Funday

On Sunday, April 6, the local community gathered for a delightful day at the newly inaugurated Seaside park. With two parks available for enjoyment, attendees had the opportunity to become creative and athletic throughout the day.

The event attracted approximately 100 attendees and featured a community art pillar, which will be showcased at the 2025 Telethon Home during home opens. Attendees also had the opportunity to create sea animal canvas art and participate in football drills with the Mandurah Mustang Football Club. To enhance convenience, attendees got to ride the Seaside Express, eliminating the need to walk between the two parks. The day was further complemented by an array of sweet and savoury treats offered by food vendors.

Past Events

Seaside Christmas Markets

Santa made a special appearance, accompanied by his elves on stilts, to spread festive cheer. Attendees indulged in delightful treats, such as chocolate-covered bananas, which were universally enjoyed. Local vendors showcased an array of unique products, while children particularly loved the herb planting activity. The performance by the Madora Bay Primary School choir added a distinctive charm to the event.

Overall, it was a day that united the community in a spirit of joy and celebration.

Seaside Rise & Dine

The Seaside Rise & Dine was a resident mixer event designed to encourage connectivity between our residents in a fun and relaxed setting.

Residents were invited to Seaside Estate Park for a BBQ brunch with music, lawn games, icebreakers, a community mural project, and farm animals to keep all ages entertained.

Seaside Share Place Workshops

The Share Place workshops took place during the July school holiday from Monday - Friday for over two weeks. The program rotated through four free, sustainability-focused workshops suited to all ages including a glow party and messy play, hand sewing, crafty upcycling, and rug weaving.

The event was created to promote the Seaside Share Place for its local amenity as a community-driven, bookable space.
