Meet Cheryl Pearson

Heartford, Donnybrook Sales Professional Cheryl.

Cheryl Pearson loves long walks and a really good cafe, which goes some way to explaining why she’s spent much of her adult life living in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

Earlier this year, she accepted the role of Sales Professional at Heartford, Donnybrook Satterley’s new masterplanned community in Donnybrook, and brought with her not only a personal attachment to the area, but years of professional experience within it as well.

“I’ve lived in South Morang [about 20 minutes from Donnybrook] for more than two decades. I started my property career 22 years ago at Ray White in South Morang and the majority of my career has been spent selling land in this corridor, so I’m really familiar with the area.

“My kids went to school in the local area, played local sport and this is home for me.”

Cheryl says that one of the things that attracted her to the opportunity at Heartford was the chance to introduce new residents to the best parts of the area she loves. And one of its major advantages is its convenience.

“The beauty of Donnybrook is the amount of transport connections. You’re so close to V/Line services that take you to Southern Cross. And then there are the bus services, the easy access to Hume Highway, and a good range of schools close by.

“There’s also a vibrant mix of shopping precincts a close drive away,” Cheryl explains.

In Cheryl, prospective homebuyers will find a highly experienced salesperson who is renowned for her ability to offer both insight and understanding.

“I’ve always said that good salespeople treat people respectfully and listen to their requests, which is what I always do. I try and work backwards with people, starting with their budget, and their timeframe, then moving on to what lot size they’re after, what floorplan and the building options.

“You can’t sell property successfully if you don’t understand the different lots and can match them to a buyer’s situation. And you have to know the details: orientation, position, the building code and so on. I think people appreciate my experience, local knowledge and my honesty and I’m now selling to the children of customers I sold to years ago, which is exciting.”

Cheryl says she’s also excited to be working for Satterley, a company whose name precedes it.

“Satterley has a strong reputation for delivery. They create particularly good parks for the local community and from my experience builders are happy to align themselves with Satterley communities. That’s always a good sign.

“There’s a real sense of community pride at Satterley, but also in Donnybrook, and I’m really happy to be a part of Heartford at such an early stage in its progress.”
