Satterley acquire former Kingswood Golf Course in Victoria
Satterley recently finalised the purchase of the former Kingswood Golf Course, situated in Dingley Village.

Located in Melbourne’s high-growth south-east corridor, the sale – at around $220 million – was the largest residential transaction in Australia to date in 2024.

The former Kingswood Golf Course is a 53.4 hectare site, with the capacity for about 800 homes. At a median lot price of about $440,000 in Melbourne’s south-east, the former golf course could generate more than $350 million in total lot sales.

Our Chief Executive and Founder Nigel Satterley said of the acquisition: “The Satterley team are looking forward to developing the site into an iconic infill master planned community with extensive open space, mature landscaping and family parks for both existing and future residents to enjoy, all within a short stroll of the established amenity in Dingley Village”.

Thank you to everyone involved in the execution of this transaction, including brokers Colliers International Residential – Development Site Sales team, the property development team at Maddocks lawyers, and the Satterley team of Brendan Acott, Stuart Skerman, Jack Hoffmann, Chris Plant and Hannah Qin.
