DALYELLUP BEACH COMMUNITY SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

As part of a commitment to help the community grow and become self-sustainable over time, Dalyellup Beach's Community Sponsorship Program provides the opportunity for local groups and not-for-profit organisations to apply for funding to support local events, activities and projects or to purchase new equipment.

Supported Initiatives

Check out some of the amazing community-driven initiatives that have been supported as part of the Community Sponsorship Program run across select Satterley estates. These are all examples of what is possible through partnership, so let’s work together to get great things happening in and around Dalyellup Beach!

School P&C Fundraising Events

Our Dalyellup Beach estate in the South West was thrilled to sponsor the Tuart Forest Primary School P&C's first ever Terror Run! 400 ghouls and beasts attended this awesome Halloween event, raising money for new shade installations at the school.

Charity Initiatives

Honeywood estate donated the major raffle prize to the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event held locally at the local Wandi Progress Hall. In an amazing show of volunteer might, the morning tea raised over $2800 for the Cancer Council!

Sporting Equipment

We love backing local sporting clubs that are so important for keeping families active and connected. That’s why Heron Park estate had no hesitation in helping the Armadale Soccer Club fund the purchase of new shirts for their junior teams.

Youth Programs

We are all for getting behind community leaders of the future! Heron Park supported Sikh Youth Australia with a Youth Leadership Camp, which offered opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills and be mentored by an international guest speaker, Harry Singha.

Local Arts

Thanks to funding support from Gallery estate, the local Willagee Community Art Group was able to host an exhibition of their works at a professional gallery for the first time its 12-year history. The talents of local creatives were appreciated with 12 pieces selling on the opening night along with numerous membership enquiries. Organising a professional exhibition helped these artists develop skills and confidence in other areas, such as event management and promotion.

Cultural Celebrations

The NZ Waitangi Day Festival at Allara estate is an example of how one person can make a HUGE difference to a community! Allara resident, Emma, wanted to hold a celebration of the national day of New Zealand to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi on 6 February 1840. Through sponsorship support Emma has been able to form an incorporated association who has been hosted Perth’s largest Waitangi Day Festival!

New Resident or Community Groups

Giving a helping hand to new and emerging community groups is an important part of the sponsorship program. A great example is the Honeywood Residents Association Inc. who have been supported from inception through to incorporation. Honeywood estate remains a proud sponsor of their annual Carols by Candlelight and Harmony Day Festival.

Multi-Year Partnerships

MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIPS Allara estate and The Joondalup Wolves joined forces over 3-years to bring more activity, and in particular, basketball to people living in the northern corridor. Bringing this well-established club into new territory helped families access a sport that was growing in popularity thanks to the success of the Perth Wildcats.
