City of Mandurah

There is so much to see and do in the vibrant and thriving City of Mandurah. Only a 10 minute drive from your home at Ocean Hill, Mandurah has a wealth of entertainment, recreation, shopping and restaurants to explore solo or with your loved ones.

Getting around Mandurah is easy with a range of free and affordable public transport options and accessible facilities, like pram and wheelchair accessible paths and public toilets. Arts and culture is evident throughout this metropolitan city. The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre is the heart of community theatre and arts and is a must-visit. The creative hub is more than a performing arts centre, it’s a creative hub ‘linked and responding to the artists and audiences of our local community’. Located alongside the water, an afternoon or evening at out just got even more picturesque!

The City is home to three recreation centres and libraries including the Seniors Centre, Billy Dower Youth Centre and the Mandurah Community Museum. Together they offer a range of activities, resources and entertainment for locals of all ages. The City Kids program is a particular hit with residents!

Nature is plentiful in the heart of Mandurah. Surrounded by a 134km estuary, the waterways are central to many activities including paddleboarding, crabbing, dolphin watching and nature watching. Relaxing from the shores with your favourite people and snacks is the perfect way to spend a day away from home.

Mandurah is also a great spot for weekend getaways. Celebrate your next special occasion enjoying delicious food, beautiful surrounds and an adrenaline hit or two! Our favourites include hiring a boat or bike and making your way around the city or hiring a jet ski to explore the waters, famous dolphins and unique waterways.

The City of Mandurah has a range of tracks and trails to explore with something for every adventurer. Whether you’re a hiker, bird watcher or urban stroller, the Bibbilmum Track has over 1000km of walkways for you to enjoy with views of forests, valleys and the coast. The Blue Rocks Walk, Darling Downs Bridle Trail and Gold Mine Hill Walk are a few favourites.

Mandurah is also home to a variety of local businesses selling antiques and collectables, homemade arts and crafts and delicious foods. Manjar Markets, located on the Mandurah Foreshore is a great way to explore local talents. Running Sunday’s from 9am – 4pm, October to May there is plenty of opportunity to shop until your hearts content.
