HONEYWOOD’S DOG AGILITY PARK
Honeywood’s multidisciplinary design for the dog park has been designed to provide amenity for human and dogs alike! Complete in March 2018, the Honeywood Dog Agility Park has been a hit with residents and includes a section for smaller pups. A shelter, picnic-style seating, benches, dog ability equipment, water bubbler, dog waste station and beautiful planting zones can also be enjoyed.
SPECTACLES ABORIGINAL HERITAGE TRAIL
This 6 kilometre trail is perfect for an afternoon out with your dog. Keep your furry friend on a lead while your our and about and take in the beautiful views of The Spectacles. The scenery within the paperbark lined wetlands is breathtaking and only a short trip in the car from your home in Honeywood, this dog-friendly getaway is ideal for post-work relaxation.
HARRY MCGUIGAN PARK, MEDINA AVENUE, MEDINA
Harry McGuigan Park is a great destination for the whole family. A dog exercise area is on offer for you to entertain your dog and with three separate playgrounds for the kids to enjoy too! Basketball courts and picnic tables mean you can bring a picnic and spend the day out and about in nature, all only a short drive from Honeywood.
PEACE PARK & PARMELIA DOG PARK
Pack supplies for a BBQ and catch up with fellow dog-owners. The dog exercise area is one of the best around and is fenced off from the rest of the park for your peace of mind. Park benches and picnic benches, as well as a grassed area, allow you to wind away your afternoon while your energetic pup burns off some steam!
VISIT YOUR LOCAL DOG BEACH
Both Kwinana and Rockingham have a range of dog beaches you can enjoy. One of our favourite ways to unwind after a long day at the office is taking our best friend to the beach, grabbing a coffee and dipping our toes in the water. What better way is there to unwind?
Kwinana Dog Beach is your local and one of our favourite spots, but if you fancy a longer drive or weekend trip, Rockingham has a range of dog-friendly beach destinations to enjoy. Check them out here.
DARLING CHASE AND TURNIX STREET, WANDI
If staying local is more your thing, as well as the Honeywood Dog Ability Park, nearby dog excursive space can be found at Darling Chase and Turnix Street. Within walking distance of your home at Honeywood, this local spot is ideal for meeting neighbours and daily walks with your best pal.
