Telethon Home mural raises further $2000 for Telethon

Telethon mural Fat Cat 2023 Madora Bay Primary School
As part of the 2023 Telethon Home, Madora Bay Primary School students worked with a local artist to create a stunning custom artwork.

The mural was a collaborative artwork between local artist Elli Moody and the Year 4, 5, 6 students. Created over three sessions at the school, Elli and the students put their all into creating a piece they could really be proud of.

This unique piece measures 1.1m in diameter, and has been created on timber, with layered timber cut-outs for a 3D effect, and was hung in the Telethon Home throughout the home open process.

The artwork was offered for sale via private auction online. We are delighted to announce that the piece was purchased for a massive $2000 by our Chief Executive Nigel Satterley, and has been donated back to the school to be displayed for all visitors to admire.

100% of the proceeds from this sale went to Telethon7 Perth contributing to the record $77.5 million raised this year!

More information on the 2023 Telethon Home, which sold for a record $900,000 – and then generously topped up to $1 million by Satterley and Home Group! – can be found here.
