Telethon Home returns to Seaside in 2023News
This year’s home was once again built by Home Group, with the showstopping 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home being officially offered for sale from Saturday 9 September.
Offers are invited from $860,000, with the final sale announcement to be made over the Telethon Weekend on 21 and 22 October. 100 per cent of the proceeds of the sale go to aid sick children and their families via Telethon.
Approximately 110 guests attended the event, including Satterley Chief Executive Nigel Satterley AM, Seven West Media Chairman Kerry Stokes AC, Seven West Media Chief Executive Maryna Fewster, and Home Group Managing Director Anthony Silvestro, with the event MC’d by the City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas.
Catering for the event was generously donated by Home Group, with an impressive spread by the team at Birraz.
The Telethon Home opened for public viewing on Saturday, with over 130 parties viewing the Home over the opening weekend.
Home opens are scheduled for Wednesdays 2pm to 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays 1pm to 5pm, and other days by appointment only.
Earlier in the afternoon also saw the unveiling of the community artwork piece, a collaboration between local artist Ellie Moody and students from Madora Bay Primary School. After the unveiling, the piece was displayed in pride of place in the children’s activity room of the Telethon Home. This artwork is being offered for sale via auction, again with full proceeds going to Telethon. You can view the artwork and make a bid here.
