2022 Telethon Home heads to the “Seaside”News
The program rotated through four free, sustainability focused workshops suited to all ages including a glow party and messy play, hand sewing, crafty upcycling, and rug weaving.
The event was created to promote the Seaside Share Place for its local amenity as a community driven, bookable space.
The event was fully booked only days after releasing tickets, with approximately 300 people attended in total over the two weeks of the program.
The event was a success and created the opportunity for community connectivity and creativity.
During the event we secured three new bookings for the Share Place offering the community mums and bubs painting, mindfulness and mandala circles, and a Play2Talk community support group. These programs will begin in the new term.
The program was a wonderful initiative not just to bring together residents of Seaside estate, but also to attract attendees from a wider catchment are.
