With numerous entry points, your walk can be a short urban stroll or day-long hike – it’s up to you. For the full-day experience, start your hike at Leda Boulevard and be sure to pack your snacks!

Beeliar Regional Park is one of Kwinana’s top destinations for experiencing the wonders of our beautiful native flora and fauna. Consisting of vegetated uplands, mature woodland and forest as well as open water areas, there is a range of landscapes to explore. If you’re a keen photographer, bring your camera and you’ll be sure to capture some spring wildflower magic!

Lake Cooloongup Flora and Fauna Reserve, Rockingham

One of the local area’s hidden gems, Lake Cooloongup is a beautiful and tranquil place to go walking. The total length of the walk is just under 11km, taking just over three and a half hours on a flat walking track. Spring is one of the best times to explore this trail, with wildflowers in full bloom.

Kwinana Adventure Park, Kwinana

Head to Kwinana Adventure Park, designed for all ages and abilities, for hours of fun! Hiding amongst the trees at Calista Oval, this state-of-the-art destination place space has been inspired by the natural beauty of Kwinana: bushland, coastland and wetlands. Adventurous youngsters can crawl through the giant tree maze, cool off under the splash pad (active seasonally) or burn off their energy on the multipurpose equipment including sand play, action play and sensory play.

Kwinana Beach, Kwinana

Kwinana Beach is a great family destination, perfect for playing and swimming the day away. Wells Park alongside the sand is a great playground for little adventurers, with toilets too. Picnic shelters and BBQs are located along the park, which makes this a great spot to enjoy a day with the whole family. Shade is limited, so head to the beach on cooler days if you have little ones.

Marri Park Tavern and Golf Course, Kwinana

A golfer’s delight, this Par 72, 18-hole course is a great destination to spend the day. Being a public golf course, there are options to join for the day or through a social club.
