Cassia Share Space is now open!

Its official, the Cassia Sales Office on Hawkeswood Boulevard has transformed into the Cassia Share Space!

The purpose of the Cassia Share Place is to provide a space to enhance community life and encourage community connections.

It’s a great spot for meetings, workshops, fitness classes and community activities such as craft groups, book clubs and playgroups.  The Cassia Share Place is located at 58 Hawkeswood Boulevard, Kwinana (Cassia Glades).

Booking the space is free of charge for community groups and at reduced rates for local businesses, Government, and private/individual users. Income generated by hire of the venue is donated to the Channel 7 Telethon Trust.

The indoor space is wheelchair accessible and is approximately 12×4 metres with a kitchenette, lounge area, and multi-use space. Outside features a covered veranda area, small outdoor playground, and large carpark to accommodate 65 cars inclusive of 3 ACROD bays.

Programs starting in September:

• Afternoon Brews and Banter hosted by Befriend – Meet your neighbours over a cuppa.
• Ukulele for Beginners hosted by Befriend – Strum for Fun!
• Possibility Exchange hosted by Befriend – Storytelling, creative and reflective writing.

Programs starting in January:

• Christian Prayer, Praise, and Fellowship Service hosted by a soon-to-be Cassia resident.

The Cassia Share Place will host its first community activation during the September/October School Holidays to promote the space and provide an opportunity for Cassia residents to connect. The event will take place over two weeks and play host to free creative workshops in partnership with Befriend, the Kwinana Youth Advisory Council, The Frugal Fashion Co, and Kreations by Kerry.
