Harry McGuigan Park is a popular spot with dog owners. The park is designated by the City of Kwinana as a dog exercise area, so you know you’re in good company! Facilities are also there for the whole family to enjoy including a half court with a basketball ring, practice wall and swings!Established deciduous trees provide summer shade over most seating so you can relax while your pup burns off their extra energy. With a picnic table and further shaded seating, Harry McGuigan Park is also an ideal spot to head to for a picnic lunch with the family or to catch up with a friend!
Spectacles Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a 5km trail perfect for a family walk with your dog. The paperbark-lined wetlands are ideal surroundings for you to take in The Spectacles while walking off your weekend treats!Remember, it’s important to keep your furry friend on a lead at all times.
The nearby Peace Park is a great option for you to take your furry companion. Inside the area, you’ll find a variety of obstacles to play with as well as a tap of drinking water just for dogs!Within the fenced area, there are two benches for you to relax on while your pooch entertains themselves. Outside the designated exercise area, the trees provide a canopy that covers picnic tables and a BBQ. It is a great place for a BBQ picnic lunch on a sunny day.
One of our favourite ways to unwind after a long day at the office is grabbing a coffee, taking our best friend to the beach and dipping our toes in the water! There are two much-loved dog beaches just a short drive from Cassia: C Y O’Connor Beach to the north, in North Coogee, and Weld Street Beach just to the south in Rockingham.
