The Glades Parks

Top Byford Parks to visit this Summer

Summer days and school holidays are perfect for spending more time outdoors. And we are fortunate to have so many great parks and spaces to have a picnic, kick a footy in the late afternoon or to meet friends for a BBQ brunch.

Here are our Top 3 favourites:

1. The Icaria Parklands

New Year’s resolution to get fit? If so, did you know we have a fitness trail in Icaria perfect for early morning or evening exercise over summer.

The park features a playground and football goals, as well as a fitness node with free equipment.

There is also seated shelter, a BBQ and open grassed area to enjoy a healthy post work out picnic with the family!

2. ANZAC Memorial Park

A stunning park for quiet reflection or to doze under some trees with a good book, the park features an elliptical grassed Amphitheatre with a steel shelter, a raised podium and ceremonial flagpoles.

It also has some moving public art honouring our ANZACs.

3. Percy’s Adventure Playground

BBQ, flying fox and playground, basketball ring and half court, open grassed area and a bridge across the creek.
